The Color Blue

Cold water and icy veins run through the color blue. The brisk winds of blue chill to the bone on an early morning run. Glassy clouds rimmed with soft blue light reflect too much light making you squint as a small tear pools in the corner of each eye.

Blue is smooth. Ice, glass, and the cool undisturbed pond water that moves only in sound.

Blue is sky, and sea, everything but the mundane, asking for transcendence through quiet fluidity. As much as we reflect in the cool waters of blue, we ponder the endless depth of the heavens above.
